The Green TR a models feature a solid-wood construction: a top made of carefully selected Sitka spruce paired with a back and sides made of Indian rosewood. The spruce top undergoes a special thermal treatment (torrefaction) that promotes tonal maturity—through improved responsiveness, an expanded dynamic range, and a warmer, more open character— while simultaneously giving the instrument a subtly darker appearance inspired by vintage models. Indian rosewood provides rich overtones, clear articulation, and deep, precisely defined bass tones, creating a harmonically complex and balanced tonal foundation.

The top is protected by our special high-gloss finish with full-pore filling (Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish), which brings out the natural resonance properties of the tonewoods; The back and sides, on the other hand, feature a full-pore satin finish, which provides an elegant appearance and a pleasant feel. The combination of heat-treated Sitka spruce, Indian rosewood, and the carefully applied finishes delivers a full, balanced tone across the entire frequency spectrum—with brilliant highs, powerful projection, and excellent sustain.

In addition, the guitar is equipped with the Furch CNR System® Active—our proprietary neck design featuring a dual-sided reinforcement system. This ensures long-term neck stability, precise adjustability, and consistent playability, even as humidity levels fluctuate.

It also features a high-quality L.R. Baggs EAS VTC pickup.

This model is a great OM-cut size from the Furch series described above.
