The RS Cutaway from Joe’s workshop was made entirely from local woods: Spruce, plum, maple, masterfully built, a real all-rounder in terms of sound. Sufficient volume and assertiveness for strumming and chords, fine brilliance and clarity for fingerstyle.
Joe Striebel from “Striebel Guitars” is a master guitar maker, friend, colleague and the first ever apprentice in our master workshop, all in one!
In his workshop in Wolfratshausen, he builds outstanding instruments by hand and with great attention to detail, which has secured him a firm place among the well-known German luthieries of today for decades.
We are all the more pleased to be able to present some selected instruments from his collection!
