The famous German guitar maker Dieter Hense was born in 1929 and began making guitars in the 1960s. He worked for Hopf at times, but most of his guitars were made in his own workshop.

Today, his instruments are highly sought-after in the classical guitar scene. This instrument, built in 1982, is a real rarity: a seven-string classical guitar with a spruce top and back/sides made of fine Riopa rosewood.

Like the currently available 6-string classical guitar from Hense, this instrument was also played a lot and with pleasure. The result is a great instrument that you can see the years visually, but also hear them. Great basses, incredibly warm and powerful sound.

(The necessary CITES papers for Riopalisander are enclosed with the instrument).
