He completed his apprenticeship in 1984 – 1986 as a national winner. For his masterpiece, a steel-string guitar with cutaway, he received the gold medal as the year’s best master. Co-founder of the Munich Repair Shop in 1992 and of Stevens Custom Guitars. Stefan is responsible for the workshop, purchasing and sales and the construction of custom-made electric instruments.

Gregor, together with Sebastian, provides dedicated customer service, including purchase advice and repair services. He is also involved in social media, online marketing, and website management. A passionate guitarist and bassist, Gregor has many years of experience in the music retail industry. He studied business administration in Munich and managed his own food retail business for many years. Since 2026, Gregor has been a co-owner of the Munich Guitar Company and, as the successor to Werner Kozlik, manages the company together with Stefan Zirnbauer.

Active in guitar building and repair since 1984. He develops his own preamplifiers and pickups for acoustic instruments. He co-founded the Munich Repair Shop in 1992, the Munich Guitar Company, and Stevens Custom Guitars. Werner is responsible for the construction of new bouzoukis, mandolas, mandolins, and other folk instruments.

Sebastian runs our store and takes great care of our customers. He is a competent contact person for both repairs and advice on purchases. Sebastian completed his training as a music retailer in Zwickau.

Michi trained with us in 2014 – 2015 as a guitar maker in the field of repair and new construction. Michi trained as a carpenter and has 10 years of professional experience. At the beginning of 2016, he successfully passed his exam to become a guitar maker and has been working for us in the repair and store area ever since.

Lena completed a three-year apprenticeship as a guitar maker in a Bavarian company. In June 2023, she successfully passed her apprenticeship exam and has been working in our company since September 2023.

Florian has been working in our repair department since May 2019. He completed his training as a plucked instrument maker at the vocational school in Mittenwald from 2014 -2017, after which he was employed in a repair workshop in Munich. In April 2021, he successfully passed his master craftsman’s examination at luthiery

Klaus supports our repair department as a guitar technician. He has decades of experience as a tour technician.
