The guitar manufacturer Collings was founded in 1973 by Bill Collings in Austin Texas.

What began with individual instruments that were only built to order quickly developed into a well-known name on the guitar scene. Collings acoustic guitars are characterized by their dynamics, an extremely open sound and great workmanship.
