This model is dedicated to an Iris customer by the name of Cory Hollenhurst, who inspired Iris to build this guitar. The model for this design is a slopeshoulder taper guitar. Despite its small size, this guitar has an incredible volume and a wonderfully full sound!
The manufacturer IRIS Guitars from Burlington, Vermont USA was founded in 2018 by experienced guitar makers Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks and has since quickly made a name for itself with high-quality hand-built acoustic guitars. The philosophy of IRIS Guitars is to combine modern guitar building techniques with vintage tone, handling and looks. They have achieved this in a masterful way. Custom options and tastefully finished “Relic” or “Aging” are also optionally available.
