Made of solid mango wood and matt lacquered tenor ukulele from Koaloha. Compared to Koaloha’s high-gloss lacquered ukuleles, the KTM-10 MG sounds somewhat warmer and softer.

The story of Koaloha begins in 1995, when Alvin Okami founded the manufactory with the help of his family on the island of Hawaii. Legend has it that he was asked by the owners of a souvenir store to make small ukulele miniatures, which later led to the idea of building the first “real” instruments. All handcrafted and using the highest quality woods such as the famous Hawaiian koa.

To this day, Koaloha is a Hawaiian family business that has become one of the best-known names in the world when it comes to high-quality, solidly built ukuleles.

The construction of Koaloha ukuleles has some special features that differ from the “conventional” construction of other manufacturers: For example, the tops and backs are glued directly onto the sides. The bracing used is also a proprietary development that is not found in other manufacturers.

The result is great instruments with a unique design, wonderful sound and captivating looks!
