The famous German guitar maker Dieter Hense was born in 1929 and began making guitars in the 1960s. He worked for Hopf at times, but most of his guitars were made in his own workshop.
Today, his instruments are highly sought-after in the classical guitar scene. This instrument, built in 1984, is something very special: a six-string classical guitar with a spruce top and back/sides made of fine Riopalisander. We currently also have a seven-string Dieter Hense with Riopa rosewood in stock.
You can tell that the guitar has been played a lot and with pleasure, but this has a more than positive effect on the sound.
(The necessary CITES papers for Riopalisander are enclosed with the instrument).
