The Traditional Series or “T” guitars represent an exciting, vintage-inspired take on the unmistakable Collings sound. They are designed and crafted to highlight the best features of coveted pre-war instruments. Bracing and tonewoods are adjusted in weight and thickness to produce a sound characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while maintaining a quick response and strong projection.
The guitar manufacturer Collings was founded in 1973 by Bill Collings in Austin Texas. What began with individual instruments, which were only built to order, quickly developed into a well-known name in the music scene. Western guitars from Collings are characterized by their dynamics, an extremely open sound and great workmanship.
