After retreating into the private sphere, Claudia Koreck is back in the spotlight. Everything is genuine and honest on her third album “menschsein”, which is both light-footed and profound. There is no master plan behind the Bavarian songwriter’s songs, just incisive experiences.

Sometimes you have to break out (“Fliang”), get to know foreign people and countries (“Barefoot around the world”) and feel the blues after flying high before you know what that really means: being human. Life means collecting experiences, both good and bad. The whole spectrum in music – that’s the art we’re talking about here.

Claudia Koreck turns 25 in May and already has a long journey behind her. A journey that has taken her from her hometown of Traunstein via her adopted home of Munich to many corners of the world and as far as Hawaii, where she has been several times, most recently at the end of 2010 with Gunnar Graewert and their son Timmi, who was born on September 8, 2010.

Claudia has been playing a Stevens OM with cutaway and a Hawaiian flower as a mother-of-pearl inlay in the headstock since 2011.
