The “Forty Seven” is a very lightly built compact guitar with Pre War X-bracing. Excellent for fingerstyle and, thanks to its size and punch, also for flatpicking.

The scalloped bracing gets the best out of this smaller body and provides very powerful and beautiful basses that you wouldn’t necessarily expect from a guitar of this compact size.

The neck of the guitar is very comfortable to grip and has the Atkin standard C-shape. A high-quality Atkin hard case in black is of course included.

Atkin Guitars was founded in Canterbury England in 1995 by Alister Atkin. What began as a “one-man show” has now developed into one of the best and most interesting manufacturers of acoustic guitars from Great Britain. Atkin acoustic guitars are not only interesting in terms of sound, but also visually, from traditional to masterfully managed or custom-painted, everything is on offer. We carry an extensive selection of Atkin acoustic guitars at all times.
