Disposal Instructions
Passive electric guitars and basses, their cases, and other accessories must be disposed of separately from unsorted household waste or municipal waste at recycling centers or waste collection points for environmentally friendly disposal. For instruments with active electronics, i.e., those powered by batteries or even phantom power, the instructions for the disposal of electrical devices based on the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) apply.
