Robin Boucher personally selects Adirondack red spruce for the bracing and Top to give the instrument its special bluegrass sound. Rich basses, punchy mids and powerful highs characterize the sound spectrum of the Bluegrass Goose. Thanks to the raised top radius and the unique neck profile, which sits perfectly in the guitarist’s hand, it is incredibly comfortable to play.
In addition to the AAAAA Top made of the finest Adirondack spruce, this guitar also comes with the so-called “Gold Pack”, whereby the woods are baked, artificially aged and thus develop the response of a guitar that has been played in for decades.
As you would expect from Boucher, the BG-42 also looks absolutely perfect and flawlessly finished and is simply beautiful.
