Founded in 1975 by Dana Bourgeois, the Lewiston, USA-based manufacturer Bourgeois Guitars has been in existence for over 50 years and is today one of the absolute top addresses for exclusive, high-quality acoustic guitars and mandolins that are made by hand.
Bourgeois Guitars produces around 400 instruments a year, using only the best tonewoods. In particular, the specially selected “old growth” Adirondack spruce tops from Dana Bourgois ensure the unique sound of these instruments and today have an almost legendary reputation in the acoustic guitar scene.
Bourgeois Touchstone Series: This series is the result of a collaboration between Bourgeois Guitars and Eastman Guitars, whereby the legendary handcrafted tops by Dana Bourgeois are used on instruments that Eastman Guitars manufactures based on Dana’s blueprints. The result is great guitars that offer true Bourgeois sound and look & feel at an attractive price point.
