Although the Collings OOO2H has the same width and depth as the Collings OM, the longer body with 12 frets typically produces more bass and a higher overall volume. This makes the Collings 000 ideal for purists in the stringband scene or any guitarist who wants maximum sound power from a handy instrument with an elegant, classic look.
The guitar manufacturer Collings was founded in 1973 by Bill Collings in Austin Texas. What began with individual instruments, which were only built to order, quickly developed into a well-known name in the music scene. Western guitars from Collings are characterized by their dynamics, an extremely open sound and great workmanship.
