For ukulele players who want to learn guitar, the Ohana Guitarlele offers the same size and shape as the tenor ukulele, the same scale length, tuning and feel. At the same time, the number of strings is increased to 6 to offer the possibility of playing in “guitar style” – the musical equivalent of a tenor ukulele tuned with a low G and two additional strings in the bass register, creating a range of two octaves.
